"What a perfect weekend get away for a family wedding in Carbondale at St. Rose of Lima Church and then reception at Birchtown Wedding and Evenings, which as less than 3 miles from the house! The home is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed views on the porches of the lake and time out by the fire pit. Just lovely!"

We were lucky with good weather in November to kayak on the lake. Everyone was so pleased with the stay and it was exactly what my mom wanted for her birthday. "Lots of pros: home was lovely, comfortable and clean. Lots of space for our whole family and the yard was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked (altho probably could use a clean out to get rid of long ago expired items. The only down side was with the showers. The house is advertised as sleeping 14 but you can only use one shower at once as there is not enough water preasure to use both showers at once. This particularly impacted us as we we were all attendimg a mid morning funeral. ...

"We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday everything was clean and ready for us we swam in the pond, did a bunch of fishing (bass were biting before dark every night) we hiked to the little water fall on the property, and celebrated my daughters 13th birthday with family, had a big sea food boil enough to feed an army and made enough memories to last a life time! We were here in February and had to come back in the summer time there’s no other words to say other then we love it! I’m sure...
