"Great location, close location to subways. Friendly staff. Overall the property is nice but the rooms still have carpets. They look old and had a few stains on them. The air quality in the room was also not great, and no fan in the bathroom doesn't help that situation."

"Hard to speak of it because oddly enough I did not end up staying there. You see, the hotel was fully booked when we arrived despite us making reservations. But thankfully, the guy (Frankie) at the front desk was kid and helpful and solution-oriented enough to put as at a second hotel owned by same owner 2 blocks away that was far better for the original cost! So...we were quite lucky! It was so nice there at the Allen Hotel and staff were very helpful and kind. So I have to give a positive...
