"The property advertises fishing but on an active day you got paddle boards in the water, snorkeling , lacking , also people trying to catch the sunset, doesn’t leave a lot of room for the person fishing off the pier! "

"This is about the 4th time we've stayed at Playa Largo. The amenities are great... service was good this time but is hit or miss. This was the second time we've had leaking in our room though. This time, 2 nights in a row, there was a big puddle in the hall on the way to the bathroom. Lucky we didn't slip and fall. It was enough water to soak an entire bath towel. "For a motel set up, met the requirements. Clean, safe, convenient parking. Nice location and staff helpful. Only issue was that it's not clear if you need to leave before the office opens you have to arrange this. Nothing on the hotels.com site states this and it's only on information given at resort. Delayed my arrival at next destination by 2 hours as I had to wait for the office to open before I could check out. "

"Very clean, friendly resort. Very personal attention. The room was terrific. Loved that we had an ocean view balcony and a kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Did not like that bikes had to be returned by 5pm Apparently a drunk guest from some time ago got into an accident on bicycle. We did not have a car and that limited our early evening access to free and easy transport to dinner. Also... though it has a marina for boaters, the resort has no beach. It does have a great pool and free kayaks which we made great use of, but we came to the Keys for the beach and the clear water. We had to take a two mile bike ride (which was nice exercise) to a small local beach and a 45 minute Uber (expensive!) to a really large beach."
