"Very nice stay, could be improved with a few inexpensive minor changes- an additional towel rack in the bathroom, more implements in the kitchen, instructions for use of some of the extras and appliances, and some warning about the fact that you can't park on the street overnight. Also a chair on night stand in each bedroom."

"Adorable, comfortable house. Needed a place for 4 people and the house was the perfect size. Walking distance from downtown and Clarkson. Little too long a walk to SUNY Potsdam. The fire pit out back was an added bonus. Would stay there again if we return to Potsdam."

"Staff was very pleasant during check in. Room was warm upon entering. This was appreciated as the outside temperature was 10 degrees. Pillows were hard but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. Good overall value for the money. I would stay there again."

Beth's Place II - On The River - Hot Tub & New Pickleball Court! You'll love it!

Beautiful home away from home

"We came up to Potsdam to visit our daughter who is a college student and this home made our whole trip so special! Beth’s place was spotless and everything in this home was so well appointed. The space had everything we needed and more! The mattress was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The jacuzzi was a great extra feature and Beth provided robes, towels and flip flops which made going outside in the cold winter weather actually enjoyable. The property was beautiful and serene surrounded by nature. The rental had a lot of privacy and I would recommend this location wholeheartedly. We will definitely come back! Thank you Beth and Jim for an incredible experience! Chis and Jenna. "

"Needed a place to stay for an event happening at Clarkson for a family member. It was myself and 4 other adult family members. It was perfect for what we needed and a short distance to the campus.The detailed instructions and recommendations were much appreciated. There was nothing that we needed for while there. All of the amenities for the hot tub were such a nice touch!While we enjoyed our reason for going to Clarkson, we joked we wished we didn’t have to go because we wanted to spend more time at Beth’s because it is such a great spot. Would definitely stay again."

"Room was lovely. I incorrectly booked for only 2 adults rather than two adults and a teen and they were very accommodating at 10:00 pm in the evening when we arrived. Very comfortable bed and bedding, beautiful shower and wonderful smelling soap/shampoo etc. and right by Clarkson University which we were visiting. Less than 5 minutes to drive there. "
