If I had to give any criticism it would be that some of the bedrooms don't provide a blackout capability, so you basically wake up with the sun, but it doesn't stream in through those windows. « There were three of us staying for two nights. We did not spend very much time here and I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a lovely, thoughtful, clean and well equipped home. This home would be great for a family. There are lots of games, wonderful space allocations and very nice outside spaces as well. We wish the weather had been warmer for that! « Overall, the property was clean, location was great for our family event, amenities as described. A few negatives; as mentioned in the remarks, the stairs leading to the upper level are steep. If you have elders or children, keep them on the first floor! We had a slip/fall that put one guest in the hospital! Also, shower floors are slippery. Property manager could be more responsive. These are the only reasons my review gets a 4 instead of 5. »

« This little cottage was a perfect, central home base to explore the area's islands and communities: Whidbey Island, the San Juans, La Conner, and Anacortes itself. It was great to come home every evening to a clean, cozy, and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. And the hosts were great too, very easy to communicate with. We can't wait to return! »
