"This was a fun place to stay in Brooklyn. The apartment felt clean and modern. I loved the owner’s selection of books about art, decor and other topics. There was lots of fun stuff to browse. I also loved the live plants. Such a nice touch in a busy city. The property manager was responsive, and accommodating. "Apparently, no short term property rental is allowed in NYC by city council mandate. In other words, nothing listed for any of the five boroughs is legally rentable. Please tell me why VRBO allows these listings? I didn't find out about this mandate until the day I was supposed to check in. Mind you, I had booked over a month in advance.
