"The place was lovely, a unit in a two unit casita (share a wall with another unit) off the main house, next to the pool and the vineyard. This unit has a private rose garden, nice seating area and a lovely cat that sat with us. Stargazing was a bit difficult because of all of the lights on the property, but still very beautiful. "Zero check in instructions upon arrival, no lock on the door, and dirty bed. What a disaster! When we initially arrived on the property, we realized we were given zero check in instructions. We sat outside the front gate without the gate code to access the property. After several attempts to contact the owner we drove over to the target parking lot to investigate what was happening. "We loved the beach cottage near the beach. The owner was responsive to our questions, and we had great weather especially for January. The location was good as it was close to Santa Cruz and about a 40 minute drive to Monterey. We'll stay here again if we're in the area!"

"I just finished a relaxing short two night stay at the Seascape studio suite. Upon arrival, I found the suite had not been cleaned, but after calling Munish, he quickly rounded up the cleaning crew. After a beautiful low tide sunset walk on the beach, I returned to find it immaculately welcoming. The suite has been beautifully remodeled and has everything you will need for a fantastic vacation on Monterey Bay. I can’t wait to escape the busy Bay Area again and enjoy another serene experience....

"This Best Western is located walking distance from Marina State Beach. It is quiet and cozy, with fire pits and a decent outdoor area. The rooms have recently been renovated and were quite nice although the bathrooms are not as modern. Towels are thin and pillows are a little sad, but quite in line for the price point. The drive into Monterey was easy, and we found some great food in Marina and Seaside that saved us from the traffic and chaos of Monterey st. I would stay here again (or across the street at the Resort if I splurge!)"
