"We liked the central location making it easy to walk our dog around the surrounding areas which was are sole purpose of choosing Southport/this hotel for our visit. The hotel accommodated us throughout with our dog even putting an extra room availability together as i had not informed on booking about the dog. There was a large wedding on at the time but nothing was to much trouble even at breakfast when the restaurant was busy. Will definatley stay here again."

"The Richmond used to be a great property but feels neglected of late. Room given initially was so smelly, asked the manager and to his credit changed the room to something more pleasant. Overall, the cleanliness is not great, lots of visible damage to the hotel, but only stayed for one night so made do. Have stayed before an the hotel does have a nice wing which is newer but rest of it was poor and it's the second time I've needed a room change. "

"Had a lovely stay friendly staff, clean and the facilities were fabulous. we had the spa package and was so worth it. we also added on a spa treatment which was amazing. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. I have a nut allergy and they made me very own cooked breakfast just to be on the safe side which was lovely. Will definitely be looking to book again. "
