"Good location to walk down 42nd St and be at the southern tip of Times Square or along 8th Ave for great theater. Front desk was solid, in hotel store was really well stocked. In house restaurants were closed from 10:00 ish to 5:00 ish. I loved the in room water bottles supplied daily. "

"A lovely hotel. Steps from subway. Dining and shopping everywhere. Room was very comfortable. We appreciated the welcome gift. Bathroom was clean; looked like it had recently been retiled. Could have used soap at the sink instead of reaching to the shower for soap to wash your hands. Biggest issue was a lack of hot water. We addressed this at the front desk and received compensation."

"This hotel is close to many restaurants and stores, and is literally steps away from Times Square. It’s no frills, but does the job if you plan to stay a night or two. Be sure to bring earplugs and your own toiletries (shower caps, toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton swabs etc.) because those are not provided by the hotel."

"As others state, elevators cause delays. Their system works off peak, but when breakfast or check-in, its a nightmare. Also, getting any answer from staff was relatively non-existant. They will try to rush you at breakfast, simply due to volume. Location was the draw for me, and it was a good choce in that matter."
