"The consistent perfect scores on this property are a testament to the accurate description. As described, it is a beautiful setting, and it is secluded. The beach is literally steps from the door, and it stretches for miles. This is a rare find. Honestly, our close friends and other family members might not like staying here because it is so far away from the action. But this is what my wife and I were hoping for.Someone expecting to have restaurants, shopping, and touristy stuff nearby would be disappointed. The single nearby restaurant has perhaps the best food on Grand Bahama, but its hours are pretty limited. Make sure to try it out.Go shopping and get plenty of groceries and refreshments when you arrive on the island and you won't regret it. If you have to travel back into town for something plan on an hour drive each way through an unpopulated area. Also note that grocery prices are so high you may wonder how the island residents can afford to eat.If you want to get out fishing ask the caretaker to connect you with Shervin as soon as you arrive, to have the best chance to get on his schedule. Spending a day on the amazingly beautiful water with Shervin is 600 well spent. It was the highlight of the week for us."

"Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant . Everything we needed was provided. We loved sitting on the upstairs porch and watching the sunrise over the beautiful bay. Walking on the beach, seeing turtles and rays and stargazing in the dark were bonuses! Laundry super useful too."

"This was the perfect house for us! Two bedrooms but they are huge and each has their own bathroom. One bedroom could fit four single beds and a queen and still have room to walk and put suitcases! There is also a third bathroom downstairs that has a shower as well. I would recommend staying here! :) "

"We met family in Green Turtle. We came for the friendly people and beautiful water and beaches and were not disappointed. It would have been useful to have a notebook of various services, shopping destinations and points of interest. We did fine without it. We look forward to returning.unfortunately there was no map to the residence with the paperwork we printed. But we it. From the online photos we thought we would be high up on the side of a hill. I was a beautiful location and we thoroughly enjoyed it."

"We to GTCf for a quick last minute fishing trip. The dock was a plus boat captain and ferry picked up and dropped off from the dock. Location is very close to town. Corner shower was a little on the small side but the king bed was so comfy!! We would definitely stay again! "

"Great deal on Green Turtle! Our family of 5 (3 younger kids) enjoyed this house while we weren't at the beach, on the boat, or in the water! It may not be as fancy as some of the new beachfront houses, but it checks all the boxes and is a fantastic deal! Will be back! "

"We booked this property last minute due to the weather window and so glad we did!!! Lisa and Jeff met us at the dock, showed us around, and were so hospitable! They even helped us identify the fish we caught and Jeff helped us clean it and brought us the fryer to cook it up for dinner. Highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing property with amazing hosts!"
