The layout is quite open, though unfortunately, the master bath is located behind the kitchen, away from the bedrooms. The cabinets and fixtures throughout the house could use an update, but the kitchen appliances are fairly new. Many of the lights in the kitchen and living room were out, making the ambiance of the house quite dim."

The tank is there- the host said we could take it to fill at the mercantile store. The couch needs to be cleaned, it’s gross. "I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. "This home has beautiful views from large windows in the common areas and outside deck. Check in was super easy and when I messaged questions before our stay I always received prompt and thorough responses. Our dogs could safely enjoy the deck. Indoors was comfortable and cozy.
