"Staff: Amazing service. Friendly. Helpful. Cheery. Room: Cozy. Clean. Bed was comfy! Pillows were a dream to sleep on. It's nice having the sink separate from the bathroom. No one wants to be in the bathroom when your spouse is doing number 2. LOL. Breakfast: Delicious! We enjoyed coming down and having a hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, you can make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels). Fitness Center: Small room w/ a treadmill available. I was a bit bummed there were no weights or mats available but I made it work. Pool: We didn't take advantage of the pool or hot tub since most of our stay was spending time with family who lived 5 minutes away. Overall: Highly recommend Pear Tree Inn. The service was outstanding and we felt right at home here (traveled from Chicago). "

"This was a very nice place to stay. The property was older; however, it was newly renovated and super clean. Well, everything but the shower/tub combo. There was some kind of weird patch at the bottom of the tub, but it worked and the height of the shower head was great - a very tall person can actually stand underneath it. The staff wasn’t too friendly but the price was right, beds were comfy and again, clean and immaculate."

"The sun rises over the water and the diamonds show up first thing! It’s absolutely gorgeous!Even on a cold morning, you can enjoy it on the inside, straight from the chair while having coffee. "

"We were so impressed with Tackelbox! It was the perfect location for our last minute getaway for the bald eagle tour at Reelfoot State Park. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and for myself who has a bad back … it was like sleeping on a cloud! I wish more places would take the time to add the extra padding to the mattress! It was cold & rainy but the fireplace inside made it perfect to relax for the weekend. We will definitely book a stay there again!"

"Great room. I had my lab with me and they put me close to the exit door but not right next to it. They had a dog area. Great outdoor lighting. Smoking area. Great staff. Got breakfast. "
