"Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room."

"We stayed a week in the wonderful resort at Kawama. The lagoon was right in front of our unit. There were beautiful tropical fish in the lagoon as well as tarpons and lobster! The 2 pools were heated and delightful to swim in. We love walking out to the end of the jetty each evening to watch the sunset. It was a fantastic place to spend a week and soak up the sun."

You are close to other boats but no one was loud. I’m a light sleeper so I wore ear plugs. There is a place to eat, soft live music and drinks next door. I would stay here again. "

"Our one night stay at this property was pleasant except for the noise from the cars which bothered my husband during the night but not me and our daughter. The receptionist could have said welcome and put on a smile but he didn’t. When I asked him why he didn’t offer us the welcome drinks he said he didn’t think we wanted them because we looked tired… However our ocean view from the room was beautiful and the beach is gorgeous! "

"I absolutely loved my stay here. Check in was easy and the very nice man who checked me in gave me many wonderful recommendations for things to go see (most of which I did go see). The property is quiet overall and I got a parking space right next to my room. The private beach, although small, was decked out with plenty of chairs. I got some wonderful sunset photos from the dock as well. It is an older property and the room I had was a bit small, BUT I was barely in the room. It was comfortable and I slept well. Not a complaint, just a helpful tip: The locks on the doors are a little tricky, so it took me a couple days to get the hang of it (don’t push the key in super hard). There’s a little restaurant next door with a wonderful breakfast. On the other side there’s a great Italian restaurant. I have no complaints. I loved my stay and this was hands down the best vacation I ever had. I will definitely be back!"
