Parking:

Guests will have access to only one parking spot at this unit. Parking will be in the rear of the house, where guest will travel down a few steps to the back door of this unit.

Where Bourbon and Politics run free, is where you will find Bourbon on the Hill. This unit features vinyl plank floors and wireless internet. The right hand side unit of this duplex, Bourbon on the Hill has two cozy bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the second features a full. Bourbon on the Hill also offers guests a full kitchen, washer & dryer, living room views to Downtown Frankfort, and just a short commute to live like a local and experience all of Kentucky's finest. An iron and ironing board come with this unit for all of those important events and photos. Residents will enjoy heat and air conditioning during their stay. Your Booking does not include the 4% local Frankfort Occupancy and Transit Tax. This will be sent as an additional request upon approval of booking. Capitol Business
Myself and a fellow realtor stayed here for convenience to the Capitol. We had a meeting with many legislators and this location was perfect!! It gave a spot to sleep and a perfect spot to come back to in the middle of the day for our 1-2 hour downtimes. The check-in was super easy! And the little touches (cute/thoughtful snacks, WELL stocked toiletries in the bathroom, etc) made the place feel very welcoming.

It needs more closet space the space is good for 2 people but if there are 3 there isn’t enough seating space would work with a loveseat other than that it’s location is great everything right there the house is really cute and clean inside

Great stay in Frankfort
I don't think we could have found a better house to stay in during our4 days on the KY Bourbon Trail. The home was located overlooking downtown Frankfort and within walking distance of several restaurants. The neighborhood, at first glance, appears sketchy, but only due to property across the street having some trash scattered into the woods from nearby trash cans. Once we got settled, we felt safe. The inside was comfortable and accommodating. We will book again on our next trip up from NC.

Some issues
The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.

We ended our stay early and checked into a hotel
Lots of police activity during our trip. I was initially communicating with the management company, but then they stopped replying when I asked for a partial refund. I left them the following list for future renters. Some things to take into consideration before the next person stays. The toilet is loose; the shower curtain is yellow and dingy; there is a lot of trash in the alley; you have rodents that run in the attic and walls at night; the coffee pot has a bit of rust. There are a few other things that are top of mind right now. The pro: very close to Buffalo Trace and although it felt like it, nobody broke into our car.

Owner cancelled very last minute
I booked the reservation two nights before my arrival and sent a message to confirm if it was a safe place for a single woman and they confirmed the reservation the next morning and then later that afternoon exactly 24 hours before check in sent me instructions to wifi, to the code to get in and one spot parking and to make sure and lock my car doors after I get settled, but they never answered my direct question. The following day I received a cancellation at almost noon on the day of arrival and had already started traveling because I was hours away. I was given no explanation to the reason just that it had been cancelled and when I emailed them twice I got no response. I wasn't informed if I would be refunded or not so ended up having to call VRBO and spend forever on the phone and they could not reach the owner either and I then requested customer service to send me an email to confirm I would be refunded in full. Still waiting on the money. I would not try to book this place again as they seem to have no regard for other people's time and money. I understand things happen but a simple something came up and you will be refunded would have been simple and easy to do. Simply rude and a waste of my time as I had to turn around and drive back home and cancel all plans.

Great Location
My trip started off terrible. I got to the location and the code I was provided did not work. After an hour someone called and got it straight but I was veey upset because that madevmevlate ro my conceet and I missed and hour and half of it. Besides that the lication is excellent and the price is excellent. The onlyvthing ai didnt like is the rub and sinks dont drain. THEY NEED TO GET THAT FIXED
