"I chose to try this hotel because it'd gotten a "9 out of 10" rating online. After a couple of nights I can confirm that's an accurate score. This is an excellent place with a few things that keep it from obtaining a 10. It's obviously a mature property but has been kept up well. The interior appears to have been recently remodeled. Spaces...including our room...were very clean. The exterior shows signs of age but still looks good. We appreciated room amenities, particularly the choice of Dove...

"In general the stay was good. Problems included that the cold water faucet delivered hot water, the ice machines frequently didn't have ice, one of the two elevators seemed not to be working. However, those were minor problems and in general the stay was pleasant."
