"The property is a little older but you can tell that the staff are doing the maintenance and taking care to clean well. I had no hesitation about stepping into the shower because it was clean, other hotels have caused me to hesitate. The room was quite spacious so that was a great feeling after being in the car all day. Not sure if all rooms are that large, but you could easily walk around the bed, not shuffle sideways. Our room (2nd floor) had a vaulted ceiling which again added to the spacious feeling. Microwave and fridge in room was very convenient for traveling with your own food. I have allergies but I could see where that would be great for families with picky eaters or leftovers. There was a McDonald’s and fancy coffee place right next door so that also worked well to accommodate a variety of preferences. Great location for magic mountain or for telling through. Walmart, Whole Foods, and sprouts are just a quick drive away again allowing everyone to get what they needed. All the usual hotel stuff: Vending, ice, tiny shop, fitness center and pool were all easily available. I didn’t use laundry room but it was well lit and looked clean. Great stay overall. Only downside was it was a bit chilly, we tried to turn up the heat but it didn’t seem to work. Probably just an us issue, didn’t seem worth the effort to further investigate, and probably just our not knowing what to do. "
