Enjoyed the complementary sherry, talking with the excellent hosts, the large room with fireplace plus sitting area, the veranda and the outstanding breakfast. All for a very reasonable price. My daughter and I stayed here overnight while attending a play at Shakespeare Company. It was perfect for our visit. Location was great - could walk to downtown Lenox. Rooms were beautiful and historic. Grounds lovely. And the hosts were charming. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the house at breakfast - which was delicious. Highly recommend

I liked that it is an older style bed and breakfast place. You could say "classy" or "vintage". It reminded me of places where I would visit with family when I was a child. I received a personal welcome and orientation to the property. Breakfast was nice and cooked options were available for me to choose. Another guest in the dining room at breakfast was also enjoying the visit and it was natural to strike up a conversation and get to know each other. It was a more personal kind of stay than my typical hotel experience.
