"Beautiful coastline. Dated hotel but exquisite access to views and beach. The self checkin is a bit of an issue as not all the codes are getting sent with the welcome emails. But the staff are friendly and the food otoios in the community, including the coffee shop, are excellent. But ultimately it’s all about the unparalleled scenery!"

"We had a great time at Redwood River Resort. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the Deer Haven cabin was a delightful place to stay - cozy and comfortable with fun rustic decor and a big comfortable bed. The heater worked great. The food at Harrison's was very enjoyable also. We will stay here again! "

"Wonderful site overlooking the Pacific dunes and ocean. Many places to sit and absorb the view including a fire pit that we used every night. The internet wifi connection was out the entire time but the owner tried hard to rectify. Because of spotty cell service it was hard to get on the net. Despite this, it was a great site to relax and enjoy the isolation. Although we did not use the kayaks, they were convenient to the waters of the estuary and would be a great way to explore."
