"Very sweet little room we had to twins. Storage is good 2 wardrobes to share stuff. All very clean and beds were comfy. Check I in very easy they just give you a code for keys. Bathroom was clean however it was very small and no shower curtain or door so the floor got very wet and had to use our hand towels to mop it up leaving us with no fresh hand towels"

"I quite liked this place for the price. Location could NOT have been better!!! It was such a perfect location! Staff was amazing and so helpful!! There was a tinnny elevator which was so helpful to get the luggage to the room. It was clean, and beds pretty comfortable. "It is a fairly average, cheap hostel. Staff member upon check-in made me pay twice as I had pre-paid on expedia but then paid also on arrival - so be sure if youve already paid. This was all resolved the next day by a helpful lady. Beds were very creaky so every time you moved it would make a noise. Lockers were a bit temperamental - you have to be quite forceful to ensure they are closed. Bathroom has mould in, so it needs a good airing after shower use. "Very unclean and worn building. Half of it was a building site so works began early in the morning. The basement room had a window that you could hear people moving about all night. The shower and bathroom were so bad we really refrained from using it at all. A taxi driver informed us that there are women who offer extra services in this hostel. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Wasn’t even cheap compared to other accommodation we were just desperate for somewhere to sleep. "

"This place is a private house converted into guest rooms, including the cellar. My room was in the cellar. It didn't have a window, only a skylight with a grate across. It was dark and one morning there was a slug crawling on the floor. The bed didn't have a proper mattress or bedding. "This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "
