"AVOID AT ALL COST. Still awaiting our deposit to be paid back, hotel just doesn’t reply to emails. it says sleeps 4 but honestly it is 3 at best. Blankets and pillows are terrible. Make sure to bring your own. Shower needs to be held up, you couldn’t swing a cat In the room. We had to wait for 2 hours at the hotel at check in time before somebody turned up. "I understand that Val d'Isere is expensive. However, when you run a property without anybody attending the property, you have to communicate very well. The conditions must be clearly written. I could not par a car on the arrival because the code is wrong. They finally got it right after a few messages including ask a guard at the property. I have tried to ask as many people as possible at the property for information including a cleaner. The cleaner explained to me where to put the key...

"Le logement pourrait être parfait mais la propreté laisse à désirer. Ce qui recouvre le canapé est plein d’auréole, de tâches. La table était colante et mon éponge noire après un premier nettoyage. Le manche de la poêle est cassé, les ustensiles cuisine sont plus que minimum. La tringle à rideau est cassée et le chauffage dans la pièce est au minimum. Il fait donc froid dans l’appartement. Il faut laisser la porte de la salle de bain et des toilettes ouverte car dans ces pièces c’est une étuve....

"Went to Lê jardins as part of a group of 8 and booked two rooms. This was for a ski holiday. Rooms were ery very basic, even for ski apparthotels. Wouldn’t recommend staying Had an issue with paying for the hotel as the amount that the hotel had on their system was different to what was on my booking. "

"This was probably my 8th trip to Val Disere and the apartment was excellent value and reasonably comfortable. The owner was helpful and accommodating . The location was great and although not ski in /out very good for the frequent free bus service taking you to all the ski areas. I highly recommend this apartment for 4 , or 6 if willing to squeeze in a bit and would definitely stay here again ."

Amazing little hotel.

"Absolutely wonderful hotel, and what makes it so good is the staff. They are the friendliest, most helpful staff anyone could ask for, a real credit to the owners. It is a boutique hotel with 30 rooms and has a very personal feel about it. You really do feel part of the family when you stay. We loved it, it’s a shame it closes for the summer season as it would be great to stay and enjoy the summer walks of the area. It is technically ski-in/ski-out although the ski-out side involves a rather steep walk of about 30 metres to get to the run. However there is a free shuttle mini-bus that will take you direct to the lifts. We will return undoubtedly. "

"Stayed at this hotel for a recent ski holiday. Beautiful hotel, very cosy, lovely rooms. Lots of communal balconies. Didn’t use the bar however looked lovely with board games and pool. Great boot room. Parking on request for €19 pd. Accessible to slopes by foot, around a 10/15 minute walk depending on how good you are at walking in ski boots. Also, there’s a free bus stop 1 minute walk from the hotel which takes you right to the bottom of the slopes. Great stay, would definitely return next year! "
