"My second time staying in Flaine in consecutive years. This is not what I'd class as a hotel but private apartments that are used for tourism during the ski season. The room is large, divided into 2 spaces, the living space consisting of studio kitchen, eating and lounge space, and then the large sleeping space which in our case was made up of 2 single beds and a bunk bed. "Very nice staff and the food is excellent. The room is spacious and clean but we’ve been a bit disappointed by the bathroom, the shower and hair dryer look like the one there are in hospitals (shower without curtain or wall, it’s hard not to flood the bathroom, hair dryer mounted to the wall). There was no TV remote in the room, we haven’t been given the password for the wifi neither. Overall it’s a nice place to stay for a ski trip and we would definitely recommend the restaurant, but we think...

"We have walked past this hotel many times over the years and were looking forward to staying. Unfortunately the experience did not match the expectation. The lady manager was not helpful, she did not offer any help with the luggage( we had three big bags - skiing stuff is bulky!). As she sped away up stairs and round corridors, she did not look back or hold any of the doors open. When I finally caught up with her she looked annoyed that I had made her wait. "Beautiful setting, quiet, ski in/ski out access was great. Wonderful facilities to enjoy after a day on the slopes - pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam. Handy on site shop which had everything we needed for a week of self catering. Friendly and helpful staff. "
