The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

We were very disapointed with the standard of the property due to several issues.The house is very cold and damp and in some rooms has effected the wooden flooring,leaving a white deposit.Even in the kitchen, which has tiled flooring,surface water could be seen under our dogs bedding.The on-suite shower room wasn't very clean and had black mould around the shower tray and sink,which...

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "In all a good holiday, but spoilt by minor issues. When asked about our arrival time we requested that we leave our cases at the property to have room to go shopping before our occupancy time. This was refused. We identified a broken shower and faulty air conditioning unit and waited until the Monday to report. Shower was fixed on last day of stay and air conditioning unit remained unfixed. The heat in the bedroom meant poor and uncomfortable sleeping. We were asked what time we planned to...

"A great property,very comfortable,needs a little TLC. Very well equiped kitchen,a great fridge,we had lovely evenings in front of the fire with our after dinner aperitif. A very relaxing oasis ,we all had great sleeps. Convienient location for exploring the Bordeau area. Easy train connection to Bordeau city,and very close to a great supermarket in Montpon. We had a great time."

"An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. I have stayed all over the World and spend at least 100 nights a year at hotels and the Hotel Pavie staff is at the very top and of my list!! The Restaurant is fabulous and if you can get a reservation it is a must do. I can not wait to return."

"Loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of St Emillion and it gives you. the opportunity to really explore the town on foot. There is parking at the hotel (if you book in advance which I would as parking in St Emillion can be challenging) which was a real bonus. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if visiting St Emission."
