"Overall, we were very pleased with our stay of two nights. We have found that we never go wrong with Hampton Inn & Suites. This location was close to fulfilling that potential; the only (minor) issues were a loose grab bar in the shower and the toilet handle was a little loose. My wife felt the floors were not quite as good as we expected, but I thought they were fine. The location did look a little run down in the elevators. The home is very close to downtown and on a historic quiet street with other beautiful homes. The home was cozy, clean and decorated simply but lovely. The beds and bed linens were so comfortable. "We had hoped to stay in Laurel dec 26 and 27. That did not work so 27 & 28 tried. bad weather came to that did not work. Finally 29 & 30 worked. We went from a blue bungalo to an apartment over the Pizza place. Loved the digs and location. However, our first night was miserable as the TV sound was loud and left on all night. No sleep for us. That was corrected and Candice was great about getting things fixed. "
