"Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. Newland has a lot to offer as does Roan Mountain. Mikes coffee is really good just a short drive into Newland. Not gonna...

"Our party of four adults really enjoyed the cabin. We mostly treated it like a motel room. No cooking or use of the jacuzzi. But the kitchen was set up well and seemed to have all the equipment and utensils necessary. The decor was rustic without going overboard. Beds were comfy.Great location, Easy access to property. We may certainly return if the need for a larger place arises again."

"We had a great stay here! Beautiful views. Short walk to top of mountain. If stairs aren’t your thing you might want to skip. We really had a wonderful time getting away from the city. "This property was a convenient, comfortable spot for our family of 5 (kids ranging from 3-8). Comfortable beds, awesome views! A few things to note: when we booked, we were under the impression that it was on the slopes as per the photons provided(which have since been updated). It is a short walk. Not a problem, but we were looking to be able to step out on the slopes/watch skiers! The house is comfortable, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything. Definitely bring sound machines if...

"The layout, size, objects available, things to use, or do at the home, and location were fantastic. We really enjoyed the open property concept outside, as well as the size of the yard to enjoy, on the TOP of a hill. Ski resort and hill were .1 miles away. The hot water was the only issue, that went off and on a few times during the stay. Great house and would definitely stay again."
