"My daughter and I had a great time at the Hotel. We were told by our Uber driver to not explore the area after dark, saying this was not a great part of town. That said, the staff was helpful and friendly! Michelle and Wanda made us feel right at home, and the accommodations were very nice. The hotel itself was clean, well-decorated, and the beds were super comfy - which is great after 10-12-hour days of exploring the Capital and surrounding states!"

"It’s conveniently located close to all the landmarks. It’s literally across the street from the White House & Washington Monument. The landmarks are walkable. The staff is excellent. Very helpful. Specially the front desk. "

"I liked how lively the moxy was. It was a really nice place. One thing that i didnt like was how dry the room that we stayed in was and i coulsnt really breath much. They need to invest in a humidifier in the rooms so that people wont feel like they are stuffy. "

"Everything was great except for the extremely loud heater that would cut on and off in our room. And a mildew smell in the hallway. But i do understand it is a very old building. It is very pretty though and the staff was super helpful and polite."

"Good hotel in the heart of DC. My room was clean and pleasant. Only complain is they did not allow me to check in a couple of hours early, even though the room was ready. They wanted to charge a $75 early check in, which I did not agree to pay. Never in all the countries I have traveled to, a hotel would refuse to let me check in early if the room was ready. They definitely need to improve in this regard. "

"Welcoming and artsy vibe. Colorful aesthetic. Pleasant and super helpful staff. Delicious adjoining cafe (did not eat at restaurant due to timing and obligations, but menu looked wonderful) Room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. And best of all, dog friendly! "

"This booking is a SCAM! Do not waste your time. I made a reservation for my family to stay in the penthouse, to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrive at the building and front desk staff are unaware of any arrangements. I called the number for the “property owner” and get voicemail which directs me to call another number.
