« Im a sucker for historic buildings and the Fallon is just that. Its not for everyone. The building is under renovation and i hope to see more good things from the owners. Its a 1850 build and a historic marker, which means i expected rugged walls and old wood floors. My bedding was clean and probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive ever slept on. The room was basic, bed, chair and foot stool, dresser, and tv. Bathroom has the old victorian vibe, however may be challenging for elderly...

« This was a very nice hotel behind a very nice restaurant with the Susquehanna River across the road. It wasn't until the day before we left that we found out there's a whole town, a whole big town behind the place. Haha oh well next time. Pine gorge was awesome. I found a veeeery nice fossil of seashells on top of the mountain there. »

« We stayed here to visit my daughter at Penn State. We ended up having the best time and felt like we were on vacation in this very historic Mansion. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is homemade and delicious! When we arrived there was a cocktail hour where we met other PS parents. The managers are very friendly & will do anything to make your stay comfortable. »

« An absolutely amazing place, on a hill overlooking the lake in the state park. Immaculate grounds and friendly staff. I was truly impressed by the mission-style furniture and all the bird pictures, books, and stuffed animals. Great fireplace in the dining room and a well-appointed game room too. Highly recommended and I am sure we will be back. »

« Everything was great and as advertised. Good communication with hosts. A 4 for location only because it is a bit remote - but this can also be an attraction for some (it was for us).
