"We arrived in the evening. The staff were friendly. The shuttle from and to the airport was nice. Breakfast was delish. Room was clean. There was a tiny bit of noise, but nothing too crazy. The area felt safe. Theres a little plaza with some shops not too far away. Maybe a 8 minute walk. Wasn’t too bad. Theres also a gas station on the way to the plaza."

"This is my second time staying at Ameristar and it does not disappoint. The rooms are great with nice beds, pillows and the bathroom is fantastic! I also love that it's easy to walk to other properties /casinos if you want to check things out. Food at the Fireside Grill is very good with enough variety that you can eat there multiple times and not have the same thing. Overall a positive experience and this is exactly where I'll stay on my next trip to Blackhawk."
