"We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice...

"This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...

"The host and her husband are very kind and provided a wonderful home and experience. Their hospitality was beyond that of the other rentals I’ve utilized in the past and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful and comfortable stay. Me and my family will certainly stay again in the future as economy and life allows. Thank you Wanda and terry you have both been wonder and we enjoyed this stay. You two exceeded our expectations."

"The home was beautiful (exactly as shown in the pictures) and a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and using the floats provided. We saw several deer which they loved, and took a walk to visit the cows down the road. There are some nice hikes and restaurants around. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and the house was equipped with all we could need!"

"Checkin was easy and the place was clean. In all honesty I did not do much except walk my dogs and relax. I sat on the porch and oh yea took some great naps.I did manage to find my way over to the nearby tavern twice for a few brews.Thoroughly enjoyed my time here again and will come back at some point. "We had such a lovely time at this cozy little cabin! It’s simple, charming, and had everything we needed, including firewood for the fireplace, which made our evenings extra special. While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. Just a heads-up—the owner’s advice about needing a 4x4 in winter is definitely true—one of our family members in a Tesla couldn’t make it. The kids had a blast, and the Internet worked perfectly....
