"Excellent! Beautiful lake view. The only thing is that my room was next to laundry room and smoke coming out probably from driers. For summer time one cannot go to the balcony for fresh air. It was ok for me as it was wintertime and cold. I couldn’t not go out to balcony anyway. "

"Fantastic property in terms of service, facilities, location and cleanliness. The only fault I could think of is having to wait for a while to get your car in and out of the property as it only has valet, self parking is not allowed. Please note that we paid extra especially for its proximity to Heavenly Gondola, however it was closed (due to wind) for the 3days out of the 5days we stayed in Marriott Timber Lodge. This is not the hotel's fault though but good to bear in mind. We will definitely come back. "

"Basecamp South Lake Tahoe is quaint, clean and convenient to the center of town and Heavenly Village. My kids and I stayed 2 nights. The breakfast offered in the front office/ lobby was great and surprisingly not super expensive. Bonus- they also have a water station in the lobby so you can refill water bottles if you are here to hike or ski. There are 2 hot tubs on the property… and fire pits where you can roast marshmallows or just relax. I would recommend the property. "
