"Very lovely, quiet and relaxing property and very comfortable and clean. Rooms are spacious, equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and cups and cutlery. There is a wonderful bar onsite (no food) that has live music, and the acoustics are excellent, as well as a huge stone fireplace. The only issue we had was that there is an entrance fee to see bands ($35 per person when we were there) and as there's no TV in the rooms, you are a bit stuck in the evenings for something to do for...

"It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. "I stayed here as I had a funeral for a beloved family member in the area the next day. Banging sounds off and on all night heard through paper thin walls. I will NEVER stay here again. Not a place for families. "

"The property was as advertised. Great dock and water. Very nice cottage. Great bbq (a bellwether for a good cottage). Owner followed up with me, rather than the other way around. Easy check in and check out. Not a bad thing to say. "

"We loved everything about our stay at Windermere House. Great room with a view of the lake and walkout balcony at reasonable prices. Sauna, hot tub and cold plunge were very relaxing and rejuvenating. Pub had great food, (pizza, smash burger and perch tacos) great atmosphere and very friendly staff. A la carte breakfast in the Rosseau room was delicious and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. We had the omelette and French toast. Jeannette at the front desk was very friendly and informative making us feel very welcome. We will be sure to come back again. Thank you! "
