"Beautiful out if the way hotel"

"Its a bit bizzare to arrive at this hotel 23.30 after a long and tiring journey to be greeted by........nobody!! To get in you have to press buttons outside and then a long wait before a disembodied voice gives instructions and presses the button to let you in. the key is found in a basket in the lobby. Most signs are in Swedish. Breakfast in another building was ok if you avoided the congealed scrambled eggs and truly awful fatty bacon in luke warm fat. But this is normal in continental...

"This hotel is perfectly suitable for a stay in Uppsala. It is not fancy, a bit strange in it's layout, but has a comfortable lobby and breakfast room. It is also attached to a pub, with good beer and great French fries! We stayed here the night before we left Uppsala. We had lived in an apartment outside town for 5 months while my husband coached the American Football team. We were very familiar with the town and chose this hotel for it's location ....its close proximity to the train/bus station...
