It’s sad to think every place built now has no character. Hotels, houses, restaurants everything is cookie cutter. This place was special. "My girlfriends and I visit the mountains at least twice a year and this is the best rental we have ever had!It was super comfortable and was equipped with everything you need to have a fun relaxing time. I wish we could have used the bonfire pit (NC burn ban), but maybe next time. The propane firepit on the deck was fabulous! The girls are already saying when are we going back! Thank you for such a beautiful place!"

"My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. This Lake House was such a cool change for us. There is a whole floor devoted to games like pool, ping pong and foosball. My 14 year old loved this. We spent a lot of time playing. The house itself is quite lovely. It was super clean and didn’t feel like a rental. The furniture is rustic with a southwestern vibe which I loved.The living room is cozy and looks out into the lake. The kitchen is well appointed and a great size. The bedrooms are super comfy and dark which is great for a good nights sleep. We sure would love to come back again when it gets warmer! This is really a wonderful place to stay"

"This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone and so many amenities! Beds were comfortable. View was outstanding, best in the area, when looking out you saw the lake and mountains. So many things to do: game room with pool table, dart board, foosball table, pac man & galaxy games, TV with four reclining chairs & big screen TV and many board games. Fire pit outside was great! Pictures were accurate. Property manager was very helpful and responded to our needs promptly."
