« I don’t usually leave bad reviews, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. But Not all houses are safe or clean enough to be used as a for profit guest house. I am sure this was someone’s childhood house. However, whoever owns it now has not kept it up. The cleaning crew needs to be fired, It had trash and filth under beds, in corners, all on the cabinets and stove top. « The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker. »

« Stayed overnight for work event and it was perfect. Very clean and had absolutely everything one would need. We spent some time outside just talking and taking in the South Coast air. I bet when the water is up it is a even better. Would recommend to anyone needing a quick stay. »

« A beautiful view, comfortable beds, everything we needed, and SO quiet. We loved this small 1961 built house that has been lovingly restored and upgraded. Host was very responsive with communications. Kitchen is well equipped, patio and dock were a delight to hang out on, and liked the varied light configurations for evening and night use of the indoor and outdoor areas. We would stay here again. We loved the place. »

« We stayed here while my child went to a sheep camp in Robstown. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the abundant wildlife, but it was wonderful to be able to come back to a quiet, peaceful place to rest each night. »

« Owner never showed up to let me check in called several times no answer took VRBO an hour to get ahold of owner. Owner canceled my stay several hours after check in. Left me strained and looking for a place to stay. VRBO was unhelpful at helping look or to offer to pay for place for me to stay for a night or two. »

« * Warning, long winded* We loved our stay. The cabin is cozy with plenty of comfortable sleeping space and temperature control. The host was easy to get ahold of when needed, responded quickly, was pleasant, and even let us know when we had animal visitors. Lots of deer in the area.
