Sitting on the deck the view of the treetops and mountains is magnetic. The name Whispering Pines came about from the sounds the trees make as the breeze flows though them. From the top deck you can see all the way to the mountains and the color of the ridge changes during different times of the day. It’s so relaxing to sit with a glass of wine or cup of coffee and just stare into it like a painting. From the lower deck, it’s the perfect place to be able to work remotely with the beautiful scenery around you. From the large newly remodeled light and bright kitchen the sliding door opens to the same views. There is a large gathering area and a fireplace in the same space creating that highly sought after open concept feeling where friends and family can gather while creating a gourmet meal. The sleeping spaces are spacious with comfy beds - combined with peace and quiet it’s perfect for catching up and regenerating away from the hustle bustle of daily life. The bunk bed room has it’s own TV. The Master Suite with King Size bed, Smart TV, and full bathroom are Downstairs offering privacy. The game room/second living area provides great options.. There is an authentic full length wooden shuffle board, along with an incredibly large Smart TV, or you can enjoy your favorite book in the oversized chair by the fireplace. This is a great space to reconnect with family and friends while having your own space to retreat to and find solitude.

To make this property affordable and reasonable for couples there is an extra guest fee of $12 after 2 people.

The age minimum is 25 (families with kids welcome).

Lake Arrowhead is a private lake. Not all owners provide lake passes for guests. Access is provided to the lake trail. Swimming and fishing are allowed from the trail.

For 28+ night stays, please inquire first (not instant book); the following deposits apply:

Refundable damage deposit is $100
Refundable cleaning deposit is $350

45-day cancellation policy and for shortened stays

Note: The cleaning fee for 28+night stays is higher than the short-term cleaning fee in the listing.

For stays 28 nights or longer, the cleaning fee is $265. The difference between this fee and the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in.

Immediately after booking you will receive our short rental agreement to review and accept.

PETS: We are happy to announce our Happy Paws Community Program to help local animal shelters re-home and save the lives of animals.

We donate 25% of pet fees to a local shelter/animal rescue. We are also launching our Happy Paws promotion for pet parents who help us get the word out about the program.
To participate, follow the wick and easy steps in the guidebook under “Pet Parents” to post a picture of you and your furry family member. The picture must be posted before check-out and make sure to tag us. The refund will be provided back to you within 5 days of check-out.

The Short Term Pet discounted fee for non-shedding dogs is $25 per night per pet If your dog is on the list we will need a picture of you and your pet(s) (together) submitted prior to check-in day.
The Short Term regular Pet fee for other dogs or approved pets is $50 per night per pet.
The Long Term Pet fee (28+ nights or longer) is $150 per dog per month. For non-shedding pets on the list the monthly fee is $95 per month.

There is a refundable pet deposit if more than 2 approved pets of $500.
