The view from the living room was lovely but window coverings are needed to block the morning light if anyone is sleeping there. "Fell in love with the place summer of 2023. Return was disappointing. I was amazed how quickly it fell into disrepair. Paint chipping. Heat wouldn't get above 58. Fireplace not working. Cracked windows taped up. Kitchen trash drawer fell apart with a gentle pull. Dishwasher not emptied. Smoke detectors dead or missing (fire code). Dead bugs. Basement: water stains, black mold in closets and main room. Floods during dishwasher cycle. Part of rotted ceiling was cut out, so clearly owner is aware....

"We had a wonderful weekend at 'Something Blue'. We are 2 couples that meet every year for a weekend midway between our homes. We noticed so much attention to detail from booking to throughout our stay. The owner was very prompt in responding to questions. "We enjoyed our entire visit at this location. First impression: this spot is warm and inviting. Our dog was welcome there; she even had a welcome package waiting for her. We made use of all the place’s features, and everything works great. We parked our car when we arrived on Friday, and didn’t move it until we left the following Monday. No need: Saugatuck’s shopping district is entirely accessible by foot, and having beautiful fall weather enhanced our stay."

"The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it. "
