So much fun!
The hosts were very friendly. The pool area was a highlight! So much fun and they had pool toys and a nice hot tub. They thought of many ways to make the stay enjoyable.

Great place for a weekend getaway. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The property itself is very unique, it has 3 buildings, a bunkhouse with a double bed and sofa bed, great for me and my 2 small children. The garden gazebo had a dining area, cooking area, fridge, coffee maker, and all the flatware, dinnerware, pots and pans you would need. Then there is the pool building with the washroom, pool, hot tub, and small workout area. The pool is stocked with toys and floaties for the kids. Both inside and outside there is plenty of different areas to sit and enjoy the weather, or eat. There is also a fire pit, and the host left some wood out for us to have a fire. The area has lots to offer, its a 25 minute drive to Sylvan Lake, 20 minutes to Red Deer, 20 minutes to Gull Lake, 10 minutes the Kraay Family Farm, and Lacombe has some great restaurants to try out as well. We will for sure try to stay here again.

uncomfortable stay
the pics of the property were deceiving. The washroom was not in the play of stay but instead had to walk 2 mins to pool area to do that. more uncomfortable in the middle of the night and when it was raining. Also same with shower. it was not a bathroom.. but open pool area shower. The bed in the bunkie was small and the place was too small to accomodate 2 adults and 1 kid although it is advertised as sleeps 5. The advertised heated pool was cold water and when I messaged the host the reply came that it will take 24-48 hours to feel the effect of change of temperatue. which was never the case. it remained cold for 2 nights we stayed in. Ants and insects all around. Overall very uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. Wouldnt recommend.

We fun in and around Lacombe and this was the icing on the cake. Kids loved the pool and took advantage of every minute. Hot tub was similar with usage. Appreciate your perks. Thank you

Would stay again
Nice clean place with a responsive host. Had everything we wanted. About 20 minutes to Gull lake. The pool and hot tub were great for the super hot days (33C) when we were there. For any parents- you can see the garden suite doors from the hot tub should you manage to stay awake after putting the kid(s) to bed. As noted the washroom is in the pool house and the shower is on the pool deck. I found that it worked well with small children for the two nights we stayed, but it is something to be aware of.
