"We booked this impressive home for family who were in town to honor their loved one at a memorial service. It was idyllic for all ages - however, our family was traveling with a newborn and the home provided the perfect retreat from larger family gatherings and allowed the new mama, daddy and baby a beautiful & safe landing space as they continued to grow together as a new family. "We were in Verona packing up and cleaning out our mothers home to move her to Oklahoma. We were able to have meals, showers and relaxing, quality time around the fireplace in the evening to unwind after the long working days. It was perfect with enough room for everyone. I enjoyed morning walks on the property. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals."

The kitchen was well-equipped and even came with fresh eggs from the owners' chickens—such a lovely touch. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location by the river was stunning and provided a beautiful, tranquil setting. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a peaceful, unique getaway!"

"A cute place for a couple to stay in the country. I would stay again and it was perfect for our needs, but I wish the listing would have provided a bit more info. I would recommend only bringing one more person, like a child up to age 10 since it’s one room. It was clean and we appreciated the Keurig and washer/dryer. The wifi was weak, which impacted my work needs, but it’s sometimes hard to get it in the country, so this isn’t a complaint to the hosts (who sent very nice emails checking on...
