"Because of language, took time before I entered, the room was excellent for the price and was right in town. There was no kettle, I missed that. It was February and in the 20s degrees. Breakfast was in a cafe 5 minutes away 3.5€. 8 minutes walking from the train station. 4.80€ to Alicante by train. Nice place to stop, very Spanish. "

We booked for 5 of us - 2 rooms but room was twin and double had to pay extra for extra bed. "Our room was large with a big bathroom. A lot of the floor tiles were however cracked and the lighting was poor. In fact a standard light didn't work. Wifi was fine and breakfast was good. The main negative was that the gym was closed for refurbishment - this really should have been advertised whilst completing the booking. Access to Elche by foot was excellent."
