Potential...but not quite there yet
Oh where to begin?
The host provided check in direction 1.5 hours prior to our arrival. We were travelling and did not have access to internet, so did not receive her email. We then called when we arrived and the host did not answer. We found the neighbour's and they kindly called from their local number - then the host answered the call and advised where the key was located.
- house is not well marked so we originally went to the house next door and bothered an elderly neighbor who was not impressed
- house is currently being renovated and there was construction garbage all over the property. Exposed wires in the house and unfinished walls. Dangerous sharp screws exposed around d hot tub deck.
- a load of wet towels were sitting in a bag at the door
- house was not clean
- bed linens were not clean
- no towels provided for the bathroom or kitchen (not even a bath mat- one of us slipped other wet tile in the bathroom)
- washing machine did not work
- no garbage cans in the home
- fridge was dirty, old food had been left in the freezer
The location is great and the hot tub was nice, unfortunately, this rental is not yet ready to receive guests.
