"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted. "Very nice experiencing the traditional Japanese culture, including the hot springs and the food. The staffs are nice and food are delicious. It is very relaxing. Even though, the staffs are mostly from foreign places, they still are able to provide the traditional Japanese experience. "

We have booked with half board, the sumptuous dinner might have been well enjoyed by some but the amount were too much for us to stomach. "Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"

"Close to the Beppu Station which was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hana Beppu. They were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean with spacious rooms. Food was very good at the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hoteiya. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive. There was a shuttle to and from the Yufuin JR station that was an easy phone call to arrange. The facilities were sparkling clean. We liked the different bathing areas. We didn't have dinner but we loved the breakfasts, which were different every day. The town of Yufuin is breathtaking. It has interesting tourist destinations and good food. Aside from spending time in the onsen, our favorite part of this trip...
