"Our stay was wonderful. The owner is absolutely the best. Empire is so cozy, it doesn't feel like other hotels. Its more like someones home. We had a beautiful view of the Ohio river. We hope to go back when its warm out. It has a beautiful porch to relax on. Thank you Marsha."

"As soon as I entered the building men kept banging on the door trying to get inside. Bed was disgusting, curse words written all over the walls, bathroom was gross, the lock was just a push button. Rude staff, people complaining that the owner goes through peoples things and kicks people out at 8 am"
