"The cottage is great is located in a wonderful place near the Little Tennessee river with private Falls. It had a special place to have a campfire and just nice and cozy away from everything. The host and hostess were great. They live next-door, but we’re very available when needed for questions and left a sweet surprises on our arrival. We would recommend this place to anyone."

"My sister and I had a great stay at the Lake House. The house was very clean and well stocked with essentials. The location is great! Very close to Main Street activities and central to outdoor adventures. Upon arrival, the hosts had fresh baked, delicious strawberry and blueberry muffins there for us! Great place to stay!"

"The area was good as it was close to town and right by the creek that my son liked skipping rocks and fishing. However, the inside was outdated and had a musty smell. The comforters smelt musty and we needed to wash them. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. We found a few live spider and my wife/son hate spiders. One of the smoke alarms had low battery and started chirping, luckily it started on the morning and not at night when we were sleeping. The heater in the living room didn’t turn on...

"The little cabin was adorable, sort of shabby chic. The road from the paved road to the cabin was rough, but we made it. One thing puzzled us, though: The lovely windows that showed a gorgeous view were clouded with something that looked like soap suds, so our view was only partial. Odd! Other than that, we enjoyed our time high above the heat, plus we got to watch the full moon travel across the sky one night."

"It was a very nice stay. We have stayed in 10 rentals around Hiawasee/ Hayesville over the years. This as our favorite for 2 people.Quiet and comfy. Stocked and very inviting. Extra snacks and toiletries were an added bonus and very thoughtful and planned out. Might have another couch or recliner chair… A pool table in the big open space would be a great addition in our opinion as we like to stay in. Highly recommended!!!"

"The house was big and spacious. The additions were great. It just wasn’t as clean as we hoped. There were dead insects in the window of the main bathroom that I had to clean out. The silverware drawer was very dirty, and we found mouse droppings in the pots and pans. On the day that we checked out we actually saw a mouse dart out from under the loveseat across the living room and ended up going into the hall closet. Aside from that we would of rated this place 5 stars."

"If we could give zero stars, we would. Our stay was a disaster. On the first night, we discovered a serious gas leak, requiring us to call the fire department. After hours of dealing with the issue, they shut off the gas and confirmed that the water heater needed inspection. The following morning, the heater malfunctioned again, and we had to shut off the main gas entirely as per the fire department, leaving us without hot water, heat, or the ability to cook for the rest of our stay.
