"The property was exactly as listed. The location was so serene and the landscaping was lush. We absolutely loved the visits from the chickens and listening to the coquis at night. The night sky was incredible due to no streetlights. The electric fireplace was perfect in the morning to take the chill off. "We got to the house right as hurricane Hone was approaching the island and loved watching the waves from the safety of the home. We were able to see turtles and dolphins from the living room! Also very quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Note that the closest beach access is 40 min away in Hilo."

"This cozy home was ideal for our 2-night stay to visit VNP as it was very close to the park entrance. The home was well-equipped for our stay; however, the grill did not heat up to a high enough temp to allow us to cook steaks we purchased for dinner. We had to bring them in and cook them under the broiler. The outdoor spa was an added plus for our grandsons. "

"We celebrated Labor Day weekend with family and friends on the Big Island. This rental fit all our needs and then some. From the relaxing views of the ocean and beautiful landscape to the pool, bbq grill and fire pit. What could you ask for? A jacuzzi? We can't wait to stay here again."

We saw plenty of sea turtles in the water and some dolphins too! We also found the drive to Volcano very reasonable and convenient.
