"Amazing stay at Koloa Landing. The service was extraordinary - one employee went out of their way to give our 2 small children a couple stuffies at the market at no charge. Small gestures like this made the stay that much more enjoyable. The pool was amazing that it makes it hard to want to leave the resort and explore. "Great location near restaurants, hiking, water activities and shopping. Very quiet and not crowded which really contributed to a relaxing vacation. The small size makes it more intimate but limits amenities. Uneven staff training - valets were great, concierge was worse than useless. Paid for a special chef's dinner ($$$$) which was fun - somelier and wine were excellent, but the food fell short of expectation. Go to Merriman's instead. "We liked the two bed room layout. The walls and floors transmit noisy neighbors so be sure to request a top floor unit unless you can tolerate dancing on the ceiling. Overall very nice and helpful staff. "

"Although we had an ocean view which was lovely, I think the rooms overlooking the gardens would be better as they are much quieter, and the gardens are beautiful. Nice from the pool made me keep the windows and door shut. It was super clean, but furnishings etc. need to be updated."
