"Location is convenient and only about 10 minutes from the beach walking. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful, and they do a good job maintaining the property. The bathroom situation is in the hallways where the doors to the dorms are, so it's a bit awkward and limited privacy. The doors to the room are quite thin too, so when people talk outside them it's quite loud. There is a sewage smell in the common area - it was quite bad and made it hard to...

"Booked a hostel bed for one night but when I arrived, all the beds were taken so agter a bit of confusion and waiting I was shown to a room in the hotel part of the chain, which was absolutely stunning. I only had to share with one other person which made this the steal of the century for a last min booking on NYE on Phi Phi. Definitely keen to book with the hotel again as it would be nice to have that beautiful room all to myself next time. "

"I knocked down the number of stars because of two things. The AC was absolutely freezing in the dorms. I could barely sleep I was so cold, even with sweat pants and hoodie. Also only a couple of the bathrooms worked and they did not have sink for brushing teeth. You could see where sink had been. In general bathroom not too great. "

"I stayed at Jong’s House 2/8-10/2025. It is very clean with short walks to pier, beach, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. I was very happy with my stay and recommend staying here."

"really convenient location; 7 eleven next door & laundry place a few shops down; 10 min walk to the beach; really nice design & layout for the common areas; it is on the main street though so expect the common areas to have a lot of street traffic noise which is pretty loud; rooms have a lot less street traffic noise depending on if it's right by the main street or if the rooms are farther away"

"Sadly most of the staff was unfriendly (except one guy who showed us our dorm room) and not motivated to interact with residents or help (some even ignored the guests). Lots of the inventory (e.g. showers or dorm room beds) was broken and needed repair, but no one seemed to care. Also, it‘s one thing to set up strict rules, but the other thing is how you communicate them to the guests. We didn‘t feel welcomed and were happy when we finally left."
