"Moonlight Bay Resort We spent 8 nights at Moonlight Bay Resort and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated directly on Klong Nin Beach and has its own secluded beach. There are two pool areas and a nice restaurant and bar. We stayed in a pool view room which was a good size with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the creek and were able to watch a great variety of wildlife from the balcony in the early evening. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of food. One tip: get a second coffee maker!! The morning coffee queue is painful! The pool and beach area are quiet and there is no morning battle for sunbeds. We snorkelled off the beach and there was a bit to see underwater but not much. The hotel is about one mile from the main Klong Nin beach area which has a plethora of beach bars, restaurants and massage parlours. We chose to walk in and back each evening but there is always a taxi or two waiting outside the hotel if needed. I only have one real criticism. We decided to attend the Wednesday Seafood Barbecue and Fire show and turned up at the scheduled time of 7pm. There was already a large queue so we ordered a drink, joined the queue and made our order. By this time, we got the very last jacket potato and all the corn was gone. (There were still a number of people behind us in the line.) We placed our order (fish and squid) and went back to our seats. It was the one and a quarter hours until our food arrived. "We had great experience staying in this hotel. Individual villas are spacious and with open-air shower. Walkable distance to the beach and restaurants. Scooter hire available at the hotel, as well as massage sessions. Generous breakfast, but I'd recommend to bring your own milk and spreads if you avoid dairy. Clean swimming pool with nice area around.My only suggestion would be to add mosquito nets in the rooms because we couldn't keep windows/door open without risk being attacked and had to run the A/C all night. "

Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"
