Classic cute beach box
One block from the beach with everything you needed in this cute clean traditional beach box. Added bonus you can bring your furry friend. Just one thing to note, this property is managed by a management company and there are some inconsistencies between how it’s advertised on VRBO and their contract, which they sent us after we had booked through Vrbo. For example, VRBO says they provide linens and they do but only if you stay for a week otherwise it’s $100 charge. And there was some inconsistency in the cancellation policy but after several conversations, the management company agreed to honor the VRBO advertising for that portion. On the upside check was easy, they were only a block and a half from the house and when we got to the house the microwave didn’t work and they quickly responded with a loaner.

Quick getaway spot
Great location for access to the beach with my pups. Nice stay. Listing was inaccurate in that I booked the property from Sunday to Sunday, but the property mgmt company called the next day and said they only book Saturday to Saturday. So, I had to pay for but lose a day of my vacation.

The location to the beach access and short walk to the beach was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend. Only down side was the mattress was hard (personal preference). Easy walk to Art’s place - highly recommend

Restful and worry free
It was nicely furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The beach was not crowded. Everyone was so friendly. We sat on the deck which was perfect as there was a wonderful breeze, and you could see the ocean. At night the screened room came in very handy to keep the bugs away and still enjoy being outside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to enjoy the beach and just relax.

My mom, pups and I loved our stay at Lazy Dazy! The house was so cute and cozy, just perfect for us and loved the proximity to the beach. We felt at home and can’t wait to make this our annual obx vacation home!

Overall nice place to stay
The best part of this rental is the location. It's so perfect to get to the beach just across the street and centrally located next to everything you need! The amenities provided were excellent. The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances and things you needed. There is even a spice tower and cook books. The bedding, towels, etc. were good quality. Overall I would highly recommend the property. The only negative (and it's minor) is that you can tell it's managed by a property company rather than a person who would give the property the TLC that it needs. The tub didn't drain, there was no screen in one of the bedroom windows and there was painter's tape over holes in the screen in the kitchen. There was a ceiling fan in the living room but we had to purchase batteries for the remote (only way to turn it on) and then it could only be on low or it seemed like it was going to vibrate out of the ceiling. Again, these are minor issues and wouldn't prevent me from recommending the property. Overall the management company was fine to deal with. They contacted me via phone regarding the contract and payment. They were quick to respond to my request for early access. There would have been a fee to check in around 1:00pm but they were able to give us access around 3:00pm rather than 4:00 so that was acceptable.

Good times at the beach
The size of the rental property was perfect for our family of four, and property was spotless upon arrival. The location of the property is excellent as the house sits 1/2 block from the beach access. Everything you need is within driving distance. Checking in/out was simple, and the representatives from Carolina Shores were very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Relaxing, cozy retreat
Just the right size and location for a couple looking for a retreat from the city for a week. Wind and sun and long walks on the beach, just a few feet away from the house. Everything was clean, neat, and "just right" when we showed up. We loved every minute.

Property is beautifully located but very dated. Was not clean when we arrived. Floors were dirty. bathroom smelled awful, range hood was greasy, coffee pot is old and stained so coffee tasted burnt. The outdoor shower is a nice feature but how about a lock that hooks and new shower head and faucets>

Hidden Gem!
Absolutely perfect for our family of 3 and pups! Such a short walk to the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. You can see the sun rise and the sun set on the side deck. The downstairs porch is perfect chill spot after a full day of sun! Everything inside was super clean & looks exactly as shown in the photos. We were able to use the kitchen counter tops as a work from home office. Highly recommend staying & book early as it is sure to stay full! We will be back!

Cute cozy cottage
Perfect for a couple. Can see the ocean from the deck and easy walk to sea shore. Cottage was adequately equipped and had plenty of neccessary supplies (ie. toilet paper, soap, etc.). TVs (2) were updated(smart ). Location was good ... We would rent again.

Perfect Vacation House for 2
We were very happy with this property. The check-in was quick and easy. It was a 2-minute walk to the beach and you can see the ocean from the deck. This was a perfect house for us to spend a week in Kitty Hawk. Close to everything, but away from traffic. I highly recommend Lazy Dazy.

Lazy Dazy Stay
What a perfect little beach home. It was the perfect size for just me and my husband. Plenty of open space for a one bedroom, one bath. We never felt cramped. Kitchen was clean and open and had everything we could have needed for the vacation. I enjoyed our stay, and would rent this home again in the future.

Great little house close to the beach!
I stayed at this house for a week with my two 20-something sons and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the location of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed except for a garbage disposal. All instructions and details were very well described by the management company, and I felt everything was well run. One issue though was that the photo posted on the website of the screened porch with upholstered couch-type furniture was nothing like the reality (there were two wooden hard-backed chairs instead), and I think the photo should be updated. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
