"The property and views are beautiful - the room, however, was OK. No shower curtain, no hot water. They have a small fridge in front of the sink, so it's difficult to wash dishes. Door knob was broken and you had to put it back on if you wanted to exit the room. The gentleman running it is older and I understand that he probably can't do a lot of maintenance on the property. "Breathtaking views of the sea and clean, modern interior. Beautiful be h nearby with dining options and a supermarket with fruit/ yogurt / nuts. "I have never felt so at peace as you do at this stunning property. The views are amazing, the grounds are beautiful and house one of the best we have stayed in. The kayaks also made a wonderful addition to the house with the beach being so close. Kostas was very kind and knowledgeable, we loved the olive oil that he brought us.

"Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at villas Alilea. The house fits the description and Alexandros and his mother offered a warm welcome. "We loved the house!
Thanos, Nick and their assistant John were very helpful, giving us suggestions and information.
We were 7 adults and 2 kids and fit perfectly in the house. My wife, I, and our 2 kids had our own little section of the house with the kids on the bunk-beds.
There are many small, quiet, beautiful beaches in the area, free from tourists.
We spent every 2nd day at the beach and the other day seeing the sights, which worked out very nicely.

"After a challenging 12 months we needed time to rest and recover. Villa Fairytale delivered in every respect. The property is designed to make the most of its location overlooking the Gulf of Evia. The open plan living area looks out over the mountains and sea as does the pool and terrace. We spent hours getting lost in those views!

"Loved the property! The home overlooks the water and is on the hill above a small Greek village that has many great restaurants and cafes and a small beach area. The infinite pool is what sets this house apart from all the rest. Anne, the owner of the house, I just cant say enough about the communication and all the information she gave us for our stay. We were a family of 14. And this house was perfect! I would come back in a heartbeat!"

"The house is fully equipped, spacious. Two floors, two balconies with beautiful view on sea, air conditioned, clean. Easy parking on property. Very large garden with ample seating outside in shade. "The rooms are comfortable though not overly big. The bathroom is very small. It was a tight squeeze into the shower. The balcony was lovely as it gave us more space and fresh air. We loved the pool however the beach was much warmer to swim in. "

"We stayed at the newly built condo. Rooms were clean and spacious with great views. The pool and restaurant were good too. The gardens, the playground and the areas were the animals live could use better maintenance i.e. there were some nails sticking out from some pieces of wood, the protective floor at the playground was torn out etc.
Overall it would have been a great experience if we had not faced a very disturbing issue with the restaurant: our son is celiac and we had chosen this hotel as it provides gluten free options (we had actually stayed there in the past and had no issues).
However, this time our son was glutened as they provided us with wheat bread during breakfast assuring us it was gluten free. Luckily our son is asymptomatic but this is a very serious mistake - cannot even imagine what would have happened if our son was allergic and the restaurant poorly catered his needs. I spoke to the managers only after I asked for it and they said it was a one time human error however there was no action taken afterwards to rectify the situation other than a simple apology.
Not sure I can recommend this property given all the above along with the fact that I think it is overly priced for its offerings."

It may have just been the season or a one off but our check-out and final billing was quite unpleasant. We have still not received the final accounting bill via email despite the email address being corrected and provided again at checkout. For some reason the preauth on my Amex was not closed as a final charge requiring a second credit card and we then found out after our departure that there was still an outstanding balance. Inconvenient and options on how to clear it up were limited. Sending credit card details via chats and/or emails is not practical, safe or acceptable. I do hope they can develop some better processes in future to support the confidence and safety of their patrons' financial information. "
