"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. "We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "
