"We were a family of eight adults and six children ages seven and under. The pool and yard were amazing. We used all of the open areas inside and out but really loved the huge covered lanai. We also rented the Ohana unit for one of our little families. They appreciated the quiet down there. Note that you must go outside to reach it, but we didn’t mind. "We had an amazing time at this vacation rental! Right from the start, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the house was. It looked just like the photos and description on VRBO. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our meals, and the living areas were perfect for the whole family. The deck with the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day at the beach, and the sunset views were just incredible. We even caught some fireworks from the Grand Wailea...

"The front door was almost impossible to unlock. WE had to have the owner come twice to try to fix it. He decided that we should leave it unlocked when we were away since the key wouldn't work. It caused a lot of stress."

"This was our first trip to Maui. Linda was very attentive and sent us multiple recommendations so that we could have an idea of things we wanted to do prior to our stay. Having access to the pool was very nice as well for the evenings we wanted to continue relaxing in the water without the beach. "Beautiful sunsets, beach just off patio, and easy parking by door. Furniture needs updating and could be a little cleaner but rarely inside anyway. Small price to pay for view and price. Full kitchen and bath adequate. Towels, cooler, and beach chair available for use. Washer and dryer in room. Patio seats 4. Great place for breakfast. You can rent snorkel equip and life vests at shop on site. Gift bag upon arrival."

"We were travelling with 6 adults. The accomodations were comfortable and spacious for all of us. Particularly liked having a bathroom accessible from the main living area rather than off each bedroom. Kitchen was stocked to accomodate cooking for six. Liked having a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Staff was super friendly and helpful when needed. "

"Liked: - New, modern luxury suite with kitchen and pots/pans/utensils etc. - Weel kept grounds, beautiful pools and places to eat nearby. - Walk to beach Few issues: - Recent flooding and mud slides (end of Jan) caused road closures around the resort. Single construction entry at the rear of the property was the only entrance and it was not clearly marked. I had an awful time finding the entrance at night, driving a rental car in an unfamiliar area and resort desk did not pick up the phone when I called."

An excellent place for escape

"This is an outstanding resort. I was upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a great wrap around balcony with seating and great views of the ocean. Any resort like this is not going to be inexpensive so as long as you know that going in, you will not be disappointed. The amenities are excellent and easily accessible. The grounds have been set up so that you can get to the pool, the beach, the restaurants with ease. The adult only pool is a great option and a nice mellow and quiet space if you want to be away from families and their energy. The staff was exceptional in every venue from check-in to check-out. They were able to accomodate and help with requests. This was my first trip to Hawaii and I am full convert and plan to be back. My thanks to the folks at the Fairmont for such a great stay. "Front staff was excellent. Easy check in/out. Staff kept us updated on road closures to the hotel and gave us excellent directions to the hotel. I was a little nervous about staying at the hotel due to the resent storms knowing they were close to the damage but rooms were fantastic and staff was wonderful. We will be back! "
